At this new version has been boosted rendering performance about at least twice as much. Now frame per second (FPS) can not be below 30 for stellarium sky and projector output is much more smooth.

Shira Player version 2.6

In this version developments are below
- Increased count of shown nebulas, galaxies and other deep space object images and updated texures with high resolution ones. Now added about 300 object images with space coordinates.

Mr. Harald Bardenhagen is founder of the "Astronomy Workshop" in Köln Germany.
In mid-2009, He made my decision to give the topic of astronomy a new emphasis in his life. He is currently a freelance lecturer and will be active as an independent entrepreneur from the middle of 2013 around the topic of astronomy and light pollution around.
Now he is using Shira Player on his astronomy workshop.
Shira Player version 2.5

Shira Player 2.5 has been released.
In this version new Altitude feature is added. Atmosphere and landscape up to 10000 meters altitude are simulated with simple controls. So users can experience how the sky from Everest mountain is viewed on planetarium dome.
